Project : The Carrs
The connecting route between Ruswarp and Briggswath (and Sleights) is via a road, The Carrs. There is no safe walking footpath along this route, and nothing for cyclists either. The road is 60mph limit.
Route
The route will likely follow the road, though due to road width in places may require land purchase.
Land Ownership
The highway is owned by North Yorkshire Council. The adjoining land (which may be required) is under private ownership.
Design
The path will be the order of 2.5km, in length, ideally 3m wide shared path.
